Mother Why?

Mother why does this boy not like me?

Sweetie I believe his eyes aren't opened

Mother why is my dad not with us? Who's the problem.. we?

Baby I can't answer.. my heart it's broken

Mother why have you always put your best foot out for me?

Because you are what's on my left chest

Mother there is no doubt you are the best

If I were stranded on an island by myself

There's no item on the shelf

That would beat having you by my side

You are my biggest guide

Mother what's our first step on this island?
