Motherless

Mirror mirror show me the woman

Of the womb that birthed me

Nurtured me and sheltered me

Mirror mirror find me the woman

Of the blood that flows within me

Rushing through my veins and heart

Mirror mirror tell me there is a woman

Of skin that I can recognize

At first sight and last touch

Mirror mirror

I was not borne in flesh

Mirror mirror

I fear blood does not flow within

Mirror mirror

I see no father in our visage

Mirror mother.
