Motherly Love

Love is a song, the most tender kind.

A gentle stroke of give and take.

A feeling of confusion, an adrenaline rush coursing through your veins.

But a mother's love, A mother's love is peaceful, soulful, and untamed all wrapped into one.

It spreads from your head to your toes, all the while wrapping around you like a wildfire.

It watches you grow into young adults that are ready to take on the world.

From the moment you are born and placed into her arms of pure love, love that is now swimming in the depths of your very soul to keep you going.

To the moment you are old enough to interpret her tears of sorrow she sheds behind closed doors.

As your father stuggles to keep a job,

She takes on three to make ends meet.

To the very moment you learn to appreciate her worth and beauty.

It's a love that can grow sunflowers and chrysanthemums from weeds.

My mother's love.

This is MY mother's love.

A love so strong and wild yet, so elegant and bold that it inspired me to share this love with kids who do not know that such a love exist.

Thank you mom.
