A Mother's Day Poem

From another I came

But to you I was given

You never had the chance to give me a name

But you would always listen

To my problems and fears

Even when I made mistakes

Or even shed some tears

No matter what it took

You were always there

Even when I wasn't

You always cared

Even when I couldn't

I could have never asked

For a better Mom than you

Only God could answer that task

And He asnwered right on cue

We may not be blood

But you always were

And always will be

My Mom

Happy Mother's Day!

TheGentlemanPoet

I am 20 years old and I am short with reddish brown hair. I love to write and read poetry and its always been a passion for me. I express how I feel through my words and really this is the only way I can. (Just a little note, I had a previous account that I deleted so a lot of my poems might be recognized by some of you.)
