Mother's Day Poem
That woman, who cares for me like no other
When I was hurt helped me recover
That woman, That when gone, There can't be another
And eases my Soul when I suffer
I call this woman my Mother
But this woman is also known as the backbone of the family and of the earth
And she heals where it hurts
And if I had a 100 pounds of gold in the bank plus 100 percent interest, it still couldn't come close to your worth
This is for the woman, that knows me so well
For the angel, God sent to me, that we put through so much hell
The woman, who'll put food on the table, even if she just worked all day
When everything seems wrong , she makes it better than ok
Far from England, but I still have my queen
And for the mothers, who take care of their children, I pray you get double the pair of wings
And although some think heaven is just a fable
I believe it must be real, because everyday I see my guardian angel
Raised six and one boy and still going strong
And it life's music, then she's the composer of my song
For the woman, I'll never stop loving
And when I turn old, it's her I'll still be hugging
This woman is the definition of family
Because she loves me unconditionally
How much she means to me, words could never say
And if described all she did for me, we'd have a sixteen year delay
Treat her, like you miss her, cause we going to one day
So I say to you , Happy Mother's Day
