Mother's Depression

Everything seemed to be going fine At least in my mind She was always there tended to my every care But dying inside from decay She drove me for miles Provided countless smiles I never knew she felt alone each day All is not well She became a shell Our compass is shattered If she just grasp that only love matters Is she past the point of no return? We did not listen or care Her troubles we did not share A lesson we wished we had learned
