Mother's Love

Mother,

Like a mother there are few.

A loving, strong, Mother.

A mother's true love is like a mirror.

It reflects God's unselfish love.

A Mother Protects,

Nurtures,

Disciplines,

and Loves her Children.

She is always there when they need her,

She gives them advice,

For they will always be her young,

Regardless of age.

A Mother,

Thinks of her young before herself,

But realizes that she must be strong herself,

And set the example.

For true love hurts in that it looks not for its own interest,

But seeks to fulfill the needs of others.

A Mother,

Is like no other.

It is not a birth right,

For there are birth Mothers,

And then there are Spiritual Mothers,

A Grandma,

And older sibling,

An Aunt.

For to be a mother,

Is not just that you give birth,

An animal can do that very thing.

To be a Mother is to Instruct,

To Discipline when needed,

and to unconditionally Love.

For Children are gifts,

How well do you take care of those gifts?

If they are burdens,

Then your focus is distorted.

A Mother,

Is like no other.

There is no greater title.
