A Mothers Love
Knock knock Mommy can you hear me?
Hello mommy its dark in here talk to me,
Mommy I think it’s time for us to eat?
9 months ago you found out I was cooking in your oven
You were afraid and excited and worried about being great to me
At this moment in time you started preparing for me
Being gentle with me, eating for me and most of all sleeping for me
I grow without warning making this little oven very uncomfortable
Sleeping, stretching, pooping whenever I see fit
I grow your belly, feet, nose and toes and attract extra attention everywhere you go,
When I’m good and ready I decided to come,
Even If you are sleepy knock knock I’m ready mom
I come into your world so scared and afraid
After I stretched you out, made you emotional and changed your life,
All I can wonder is I hope this lady name mom loves me
You push , you push, you scream and shout,
You even shed a few tears while trying to push me out
So much stress and pain to get me here
After all this time and this pain
I’m finally no longer causing you pain
Despite all I’ve put you through
You loved me way more than I could have knew
You Loved the ground I walked out and even the one I chalked on
No matter what you have to do
I am always more important to you
After all the pain and hurt I know I caused
To sum it up I never knew that I could receive such love from you
All the scars and the love have showed me nothing , not even nothing from above
Can compare to even a fraction of a mother’s love
