Mothers love

For though it is invisible in mind

Feeling is unquenchable in lost soul

Fought by dark truths, and endless lies

Touched by the undesirable unknown

It remains hidden, yet open to the ones close

It’s warm and humble, yet cold in despair

She is my warrior of strength as she grows

Her unseen power leaves those near unaware

Battling life that is repetitive

She’s the protector of my inner core

Thus she held it close and competitive

Her enchanted gift could never feel ignored

A warrior, a strong endless fighter

Her gift is unseen, it’s what I desire
