A Mother's Love is Universal

She is the solar flare to my seemingly never-ending ice age

Whenever I’m in tremendous doubt I know who to page

She is the center of gravity who keeps me orbiting towards the most successful path

She would always ensure I would not crash

Her dark hair flows like the soothing dark void of space containing all of the universe within

Along with the youthful waters that gracefully flow across her porcelain skin

My mother will forever be my inspiration

She continues to enlighten me with teachings that never have a cessation

Admiration is too little of a word to describe

How our minds work in perfect time

I have never seen a woman with such drive

For she is the universe’s most divine

She is much more to me than a mother

For my soul there is no other

She inspires me to reach for the stars so I could at least land on the moon

Her love fills my troubled days like a typhoon

She knows how to heal all of my scars

I don’t know what I’d do without her for she is the graceful and ever so wise moon to my still developing stars
