Motion
I can’t live without motion.
I can’t live without a beat in my step, a note in my walk
I can’t live without the tide rolling through the sand
I can’t live without the flicker of a flame in a candle
I can’t live without the rolling hips of a salsa dancer
I can’t live without the swaying of cypress trees in the wind
I can’t live without the flapping wings of doves and crows
Life thrives on the ability to move
I can’t live in a sedentary life
The moment I lose the ability to move on my own free will
Is the moment I stop living
