The Motions
I was struggling through tough emotions,
and trying hard to change my ways.
Hoping that the right man may come my way!
Needing and longing to be held so tight,
crying and arguing each and every damn night.
Fighting and ignoring my very own insight,
looking for love in all the wrong sights.
Hurting and wanting to die
could have cost me my child’s life.
Angel so bright, angel so,
right please take me to the angel
that’s ahead of my life for
I can’t handle this fight!
