Motivation

Working three part time jobs, attending school full time, and training for a National speed skating competition

Where lies the motivation?

I am continually enticed by the prospect of doing hard things

Tutoring in the Writing Center helping students learn important information

Has been a huge part of my current education

The reward of hearing a student's success is strong

Tutoring in the Math Lab provides inspiration

I meet those who are filled with exasperation

They come back with high grades and smiles

Working at a gym I see power and possesive inclination

The will to continue no matter the trial stalls frustration

I see those who are stronger today than they were yesterday

Zipping around the floor gives me exhileration

I strive to be the fastest in the Nation

Pain, fear, and weakness must be overcome and embraced

I see people working hard to reach their destination

I know that hard things can be done with much dedication

Challenges drive me
