Mountain Top

Expectations reach higher than the highest mountain top. Never can I be the one to reach it, never a stop. I have tried all my life just wanting to hear those five words; I am proud of you. Since young every challenge would push me farther, determined to be the best. But only because who can't be proud of the best? The guess that's a power you possess. Only seeing the faults no matter how great the accomplishments are. I could write a book and even if it were to win awards you would never read it. Be the star in a play you wouldn't see it. Just take a single second and glance at all that's been accomplished. See them stacked a mile high. Just say it once. Watch me fly.
