The Mountains

the trees: they surround me with their comforting silence. the city lights: glittering so close, so far, yet all too untouchable. the valley: it is deep, like a trench, on which to pour my whole being. the stars: they watch over me with a thousand eyes. the water: constantly in motion and stopping at nothing like life itself the breeze: brushing my cheeks with its cool touch. yes. this is home.
