MOUNTAINS

I am...not.

I am so TIRED of this point in my life!!!

Need a boyfriend.

Need a 90, not that 89.

No, I don't judge.

Who are you to tell that lie?

I do judge, so much that I

Take a three steps back and realize

I am really judging myself.

I am hurt, real hurt on the

Inside.

But do not show it of course.

I do not cry, or go to a bad place.

I hold it all in,

My own personal Chamber of Secrets.

So many words I hear throughout my day.

"I hate her!"

"He cheated on her? Not surprised."

"Babe, I'm sorry."

"We will get through this."

Is this our world?!

Where we accept the bad,

and deny the good?!

I am apart of the Lord, my

Heart is full.

I love my family and I love

Him for loving a burden

Like me.

I am not here to express my faith,

But to embrace a reality.

(God is alive people.)

I am not perfect.

I will never be.

How many times will I use "I"?

For eternity.

Back to school,

Oh Lord I pray for strength.

Here I am, seventeen.

About to jump into the ocean.

My Daddy says, "Welcome to the real world!"

Yet, I still have eight months.

He will walk me down the football field.

Eager for his baby to win.

"No matter what happens, you will always be a Queen to Daddy."

Will she be a homecoming ruler?

Or a second-best court member?

A failure?

A fake?

The sweetest person you know?

I speak out a heart that has been

So emotionally torn.

I see my whole life as

Just a single moment.

This moment.

A future so unsure.

The time is now, diving head first.

Sink or swim, which will be worse?
