Mountains

Water

The cool river streaming down the mountain

But the mountain is not there

The showers that rain from the top of the mountain know no bounds but the destruction of the beauty it once was

And the birds no longer sing

The trees no longer grow

And only the people that inhabited the mountain stay

But soon resources dwindle

And people start to leave

And the mountain no longer has purpose

So the mountain breaks down

And one time again

Another life

Leaves the Earth

So what could be done

To save that poor mountain

But to not hurt it at all?

And is it not possible

To change for the better

When all around things are down

So take it again

A word of advice

And choose wisely to which mountains you tread

For one day one time

One time or another

That mountain could be your best friend
