Mountains

Soaring giants of legend long,

Praised in tale and praised in song:

Mountains high with veins of gold,

Craggy cliffs of ice and cold.

Peaks like swords, rising high

To win the war against the sky.

Heart of fire, skin of ice,

They are lions; we are mice.
