Mountains Over Money
Not everything can be written down,
Not everything can rhyme,
Not everything is perfect,
Not everything is refined,
Not everything is beautiful,
Not everything is glad,
But let me tell you something just because I can,
I will never trade my mind and passion for profession and pride,
I could be homeless and dirty but my mind still kind,
Leave me in an alley with and open wound to bleed,
Lock me in a room and throw away the key,
You can do this to me but you won't succeed in breaking me,
You won't take my mind away, it will stay, I won't stop thinking because you say nay,
I do not stop working just because you dislike it,
If you have a problem with me, it's best you fight it,
Because regardless of what you do, my poems will retain their physique,
If you want to put your mind at ease, you'll have to kill me.
