In mourning

Mourning I would go through great lengths to protect my heart from the truth strategically blocking out anything that could tamper with my hidden proof that somewhere you exist in a different dimension parrellel to this. I always replay the last time that I saw you it's almost been a year, my mind is growing weary not succumbing to my darkest fears because I'm still stuck here, alone. I often wonder if you can hear me inside screaming I'm drowning in between the length of time searching for the meaning I wonder if you can feel my soul reaching? Many more days phase into nights and the emptiness from the absence of your presence is becoming hard to bare leaving me weighed down with longing while your somewhere out there. Will I ever find you again in this life time I may never know but the void in my chest continues to grow until it eats a hole right into my soul allowing me to never forget you.
