Mourning Comes
When the mourning comes,
All you see is gray.
Shaded faces and faded places.
I look away from the light
Because when the mourning comes,
I welcome the darkness.
He died,
I cried,
Because now he’s gone forever.
She lied,
He sighed,
His last breath in bad weather.
When the mourning comes,
I welcome the pain.
It’s the only thing I feel anyway.
Thank god it doesn’t stay for long,
Sometimes.
