Mourning for Ideas

Brilliance is but a dim light bulb

Shrouded and bounded into the veil

The byproduct of ambition

Is yours to reveal

Intelligence has become futile

Basically speaking

It is the basic thinking

That has become common for me

Faults and Fails need tweaking

Hammer and nails on the broken wing

Gloom and doom is the only true lovers of a weakening

Weakling

Am I an idiot?

A question we all need to wonder to ourselves eventually

We have our times with self-praise and validation

Just as we have our moments with doubt and mental defeat

My dearest ideas

I miss you with all my soul, heart and spirit

You convince me to inspire the world

To acknowledge those who will hear you as I have

You gave me a reason to speak

A reason to listen

A reason to be silent

And a reason to look

You defined my confidence

And redefined my beliefs

Boldness was my mentality

Extreme and true consciousness was my reality…

But our divorce was my greatest fatality

Dumbness

Defeat

Dead in the brain

Definite Definition of Defeat

I am now a wandering corpse

With no grave to call his own

With no more ideas to guide me

I am but a child who will never grow

Desperation

Mixed with hesitation

Has evolved into a manifestation in my soul

Depresses and merely confused

I never thought my intellect could ever be abused

Suffering from a magnitude

Of solitude

Within the suffocating blankets of darkness

That mocks me as it kills my pride

Who am I now?

An artist with a blank canvas

A king with no kingdom to call his own

A comedian with no jokes to tell

A teacher with no textbooks

A fisherman with no bait or fish hooks

A dragon with no treasure to guard for himself

A story with no plot

No twist

No joy, no meaning, no excitement

No! I'm worst of all…

A scholar with no enlightenment

Ideas. Ideas. I'm all out of ideas

please return to me

For I cannot function without your presence

Because ideas give me motivation

And motivation is what makes the man

It is his drive, his determination, his ambition

Thus it his goal to act upon it

Ideas. Ideas. Return to me once more

It is your fuel and motivation that I adore

Sincerely,

Another individual who mourns for his ideas...
