Mouth of Man, Mind of Hate
The lies fall from the mouth of the snake with such velvet charm
The echoes of such heavy words dropping to the floor are nonexistent,
as if the sound of such lechery was smooth enough
to float the long journey to the bottom, resting comfortably
on cushions fashioned from the silky saliva
used to wet the tongue
on which such deceitful words dripped from.
Deceptive tongues draw forth
eager ears, beguiled by such smooth tricks
even the most noble of minds have no defense against
such severe trickery, like the Devil himself
putting on a show for his minions
