mou[u]rning

Location

You asked me how I knew I loved you,

The words could barely leave my mouth.

I tried to write it, I couldn’t.

There was no ink, I could not do that to you,

You deserve to know the reason,

You deserve to hear it out loud.

I care about you more than myself.

We can toss that phrase around over and over,

When we really think about it, how many people would we really take a bullet for?

Rewind.

I care about you more than myself,

Fast forward,

I care about you more than myself

Stop, play;

Will you love me in the morning?

Do I want to know?

Are your bags packed yet?
