The Movement

Imagine living,

not surviving, but being free,

where doors can be unlocked at night,

where police are seen as just and right,

isn't that true liberty?

Now picture the means,

what we must do to see the day,

where kids arent told to sell their drugs,

where we dont clean blood out of rugs,

doesnt it seem so far away?

But what if it were possible

To live without the constant fear

of people living in the streets,

doing anything for food to eat,

Perhaps that time draws near.

What must we do for this new trend?

eradicate ideas of class,

teach equality not power trips,

give those a choice away from Crips

and let them show their brass
