Moving on
Dear Jamie,
I have always been the shadow to your light.
You were always on the top
and I was always on the bottom.
We are friends, at least I thought we were, but now I’m not so sure.
We grew up together, we have shared so many memories.
So why?
Why did you change so much?
I understand that we grow up, that we need to spread out,
but why?
Why?
Why?
Why?
Why are you so mean towards me.
What did I do wrong.
I just don’t understand your logic
and to be honest I no longer want to.
I’m tired of your attitude.
I’m cutting ties with you because that’s all I can do.
To save them.
My memories.
Our memories.
The times where we were both together and happy.
Smiling and laughing and playing.
When we were once friends.
That way I can still keep you innocent in my head.
I will no longer be your shadow, I’ll just be my own light.
So, this is my goodbye.
I wish you the best and I still love you.
Goodbye.
