moving on

the dull sting of a sunburn

from hours spent outside

not giving a thought to put on sunscreen

the sweet relief of aloe vera gel

the cool morning breeze

feels nice on my shoulders

the sweet smell of fresh cut grass

the sounds of the birds chirping

summer has finally arrived

my last summer before senior year

I've reched the last chapter

of this train reck of a story

called high school

these are the days

I will always rember

the days I will miss the most

when I start a new journey

furthering my education

creating a life for myself

enjoying the little things
