Moving On

At the blackboard I sit and stare

With each minute I twist my hair

I've been waiting for my senior year...

And now it's here I shed a tear

I will miss cheering at the Lions games

And kissing boys- we won't recall names

Why I always wanted to grow up fast

Is something now I want to last

I know theres a lot more out there for me

Thats why I set my mind to get a higher degree

College and scholarship apps are such a pain

But knowledge is A must to gain

A dentist is what I want to be

And I will not let anything stop me

I hope to recievce a scholarship to help pay

Then open my dental practice one day
