Moving

Blue eyes looked down at me But I didn’t want to look. The words “I love you” left your lips But I couldn’t say it back. Your arms held me so close But I wouldn’t touch you. You started to leave But my brown eyes started leaking tears. No words left your mouth But all I could say was “I’ll miss you.” I wanted to feel your arms around me once more, But you were too far gone.
