Moving on

A kelidescooe of blue above,
Light dancing in the water.
I drift down
Down
Further down,
Weightlessly sinking below waves
Unknown under the surface.

Hands plunge into the abyss
Reaching to bring me back.
Up
Up
Up to the world of glass and stone.
Voices, urgent, beg for return.

The ocean envelopes me,
The seaweed, like tentacles, pull
Deeper,
Deeper,
Even deeper.
Rainbowed orbs of air swim high
From my throat, taking my soul
In bits and pieces
Toward heaven.

A stone hidden within my ribs
Embraces gravity's tug,
Allows no struggle,
Just gentle submission to the blue
Seplechure housing all
Past shipwrecked memories and
Loves.
All still.
Still.
So still
