Moving On

I hate the way you make me feel

You fooled me to think what we had was real

I wanted us to last

Now all I think of is putting you in the past

Our time was not wasted those memories we shared

I just thought after all that you would still care

I trtied to be there for you I tried to be strong

But what was I thinking how could I be so wrong

Blinded by those feelings which keep me clinging to you

Moving on is just something I have to do

For me and for you I write this farewell

For better or worse the future we cannot tell

Just your average every day guy who is battling depression, anxiety and life in general. I write to get my negative thoughts out of my head and to be a voice for those who are not yet willing to talk about these diseases.
