Moving Forward

My heart cannot take more upsets or damage I can no longer stay by your side with ignorance clouding my judgement When did our bond begin to waver? I lay here by the tall green grass with eyes full of wonder Searching for something that may lead me to my answer Come now old friend time we will search together for our wonders Someday you and I will become the sun and the sky Till that day only fear will consume us as we explore our answers together When will it end dear friend? Our constant struggles will soon be futile once our close bonds struggle Make me a pocket watch as we watch the time together These three little words wont do as much as it did when we had met Why weep so much dear friend we had our fun Now we embark in a new journey with divergent paths It is for the best as we carry the heavy burdens of our past Truthfully I cannot stand my life without you How is it that it has to this?
