moving forward

I was heartbroken

I was sad

I lost two people very close to me in two months

It was bad

But it made me cherish the moments I have

I see my family more than before

I make sure they know how much they’re adored

The deaths in my past are a reminder to me

That no one really know when their last day may be

So I say what I feel and I don’t hold back

I was destined for great things

It’s time to act
