Mozerella

my name is Mozerella

my stepsister could be mistaken for Cruella

my stepmother is a horror

she makes me bake all day and sweep the floor

no one has ever loved me except my parents

unfortunately they passed during my adolescence

although this may sound rather cheesy

i, Mozerella, want a love of my own to please me

yet i'm stuck all day baking pasta

for my awful step mama

last week i attended the royal ball

the prince was handsome and tall

we danced until the clock struck midnight

until i ran into the night in a terrible fright

i have returned in fear to my kitchen

hoping against hope i listen

to see if the prince will come after me

i hear he is using my renowned linguini recipe

and testing every fair maiden

of their capability of cooking this delicacy

he arrives at my house

Cruella tries in vain to cook the linguini

but the prince dismisses her and turns his eyes on me

i bake the dish with pride

and set it before him brushing my stepmother aside

it's love at first bite

the prince orders my evil family away

and we leave at first light

now I, Mozerella, am happy at last

baking purely for pleasure with no fear of my past
