Mr Fisher

There was a GM named Matt

Some say he’s a real cool cat

Most days he must wear many a hat

Owners, co-workers & passengers put him up to the batt

He takes a fast train or maybe a slow

But Matt always knows how to run the show

He likes to call himself a Booba

And strolls around Lehighton playing a tuba

He works all the time and won’t ever get to Cuba

Waffle fries, pizza, he thinks he’s a smarty

He even had cake at Jim Thorpe’s Birthday Party

Hunter the chocolate lab is his little buddy

Can’t keep him from getting his paws muddy

This tale is over and that is that

The end of the story about our friend Matt

I've been writing short poems off and on since high school. Just for myself in times of joy, sadness and sometimes fun poems about people I know. I like to make them funny so the person can laugh, maybe when they need a little pick me up. I also like to write short campfire (scary) stories and make them about people I know with some truths to the tales. I'll put some of the ones I have already written and maybe this will inspire me to write more. Thank you
