Mr. Universe

Your veins are tributaries,
Thin fingers of a river,
Pure and alive

Your eyes are the ocean,
Waves ever-crashing,
Restless and beautiful

Your freckles are stars,
Melanin constellations,
Visible on a cloudy night

Your hair is cotton,
Swaying gently in the wind,
Softer than silk

Your hands are flowers:
Delicate petals on a stem,
Smelling sweet and alive

Your soul is the moon,
Ethereal and mysterious,
Radiance surpassing all else
