Mr. Wilson

Dear Mr. Wilson

I was told to not wait up for you tonight

But then again, whenever does a kid sleep

5 minutes to 10! I wonder how many minutes are in Forever,

I wonder your IQ score ‘cause man you thought you were clever,

Leaving me at that front door -- “Oh Mr. Wilson How could you”

Is what my mother yelled through that phone the next morning with me next to her

catching that drift

Oh mr. wilson why weren’t you never around ? At one point I stop wanting to know

mr. wilson please write me back , please don’t go I need to know.

Mr. Wilson you came last week, I been waiting for that dinner with you ever since

You must be very dirty because you told me you were going in for a little rinse,

Oh Mr. wilson come back now, that rinse is overdue

Once again Mr. wilson, Leaving me at that front door

Just this time I had my shoes

Mr. Wilson how come I’m always at that front door, waiting and waiting

I’m 18 now Mr. Wilson and im not waiting no more

I figured you had to been clever because I realized

You never walked through that Front door
