Mr.Chameleon
Oh, hello fellow stranger
What is your name?
Is it 9, 10, 11 or 12?
Well, does it really make a difference?
Of course it does my fellow stranger
Don’t you know that is how you’re identified?
Jock, smart, dumb, fun, angelic, bogus, clueless, sane
You’re new around here, aren’t you?
Well, let me take you on a tour
So, here you go my fellow stranger
As you can see, the seas are full with glee
Well, not really, we can be quite deceiving
I’ll point out the good and I’ll point out the bad
Please then decide whether you prefer to be back in flaptap
Well, we are diverse
Crocodiles, moths, seahorses and minnows
We are big, loud and proud!
We can roar and it’ll be heard through town!
Everyone looks up to us
We are the queen of the beehive
It is safe,
I promise you won’t be kidnapped by the hyena
And of course,
We hold the largest records of kill on the scoreboard!
But, like everyone else, we hold our faults
I’ll share them with you, Mr. Chameleon
Even though we are loud and proud,
I bet you the cows wouldn’t be near the hounds
We may be on top of the box
But we put in more work with our claws than with our own hearts
I must admit that although we can be heard through town,
Times have been quite tough and the workers have gone down
I wish someone would show a little appreciation
For all this work, it’s really not that facile
Well, there you have it, Mr. Chameleon
I hope you stick around till the time runs out
I must go; I have a meeting to catch
Don’t worry, it’ll be alright
