Mrs. Fredrickson
A grey haired woman,
full of light,
made her way into the life,
of a girl who didnt know how to write.
Or at least she didnt think she knew,
until round the room- teacher flew,
with words on lip,
the girl did slip into a poems draw
She wrote the feelings that she knew,
and the ones she did not,
the girl advanced beyond her dreams,
with poetry bad dreams she fought,
The girl had not known anyone who died,
until that coming fall,
when the grey haired woman did,
it made the girl feel small,
But the woman had given her one thing,
that would get her through it all,
as the girl grew her poetry did too,
and she never again felt small.
