Mrs. Potato Head

You never took the the time to understand me

Always nagging that I never did things “normally”

“It’s not that hard to start a conversation”

“Stop being so stuck up. You’re no better than these people”

I wanted to start that conversation,

I wasn’t being stuck up.

It’s just the thought of holding a conversation with an unknown individual sends chills down my back,

My hands begin shake, and

My heart begins to race.

I’m sorry I can’t do things like you.

I only know how to do things like me.

If you can’t take the time to learn about me, or pretend to care about me,

Why do I care so much about what you have to say?

I’m sorry I’m not Mrs. Potato Head.
