Mrs. Stevenson

The highlight of my day

Was going into class

And seeing your face

You had a smile

That I cannot explain

And the mother like instinct

That would sometimes complain

Some days it was rough

Some days it was tough

But everyday we still felt

The embrace of your love

The last class of the day

We were very interesting in many ways

We had some good days

As well as some bad

But we always would find a way

To make you laugh

Some days we would work

Some days we would talk

Some we would pay attention

Others,

We wouldn't listen at all

I am so sad our time together has gone away

But what I will always remember

Is your beautiful face

The one that would smile

When we did something right

And the one that would frown

When we didn't act so bright

I will never forget you

It's not finished yet, but this poem is dedicated to my former Geometry Pre-AP teacher, her name is Mrs. Stevenson, and she was a great and one of the best teachers I've had and I told her on the last day of school that I was gonna write her a poem because she enjoyed reading my others so this is for her.
