Mundane Monday

Half awake, half asleep. Yep. Its Monday.

Stumbling for coffee, wishing it was Sunday.

To the kitchen I go, shivering cold.

Its supposed to rain and that doesn’t get old.

The coffee grounds are in, water is in and

the pot is on. Oh I need my caffeine

I bet the coffee is bomb is England.

What can I say? I’m a caffeine crazed teen.

Whilst the coffee drips, my sanity dips.

It’s almost done, I need my caffeine soon.

The smooth flavour, the delicate sips,

Stirring sugar and cream with my spoon

It’s done, silence from the coffee maker!

This liquid gold, my week day saviour!
