Mundania

My life is filled with other people’s voices speaking meaningless words.

I am so bored, floating around in these empty vibrations.

I want to be unsettled by something, anything.

There is so much world to see, and I have seen none.

Fill me with passion, emotion, a raw craving to see something besides my face in a grimy mirror.

Let things break me, destroy me, tear me down until I am nothing.

As long as it’s different, meaningful, I just want to feel.

Feeling is living, but I feel nothing.

Help, please, strike me down so I must crawl back up.

I don’t want to live like this, I can’t live like this,

Anymore.
