A Murderer Walks Free
When a murderer walks free,
Are you still proud to be an American?
And when an innocent teen is killed,
Why does the killer walk free?
When a man is shot,
Do you blame the victim?
Or do you only blame the victim
If he is black?
We live in a culture where it's the victim's fault,
Be it rape or robbery or murder.
The victim is the one who carries the guilt,
Because a penalty would ruin a criminal's life.
Do not feel bad for the murderer,
For he acted on his own accord.
A murderer must pay his fines,
And rest assured, he will.
