Murphy's Law

Sleep is always too far away,

Yet my thoughts are always too close.

Whenever I yearn for one,

The other seems to come

Completely uninvited.

Guess that’s how it works though,

Isn’t it?

Any situation seems fine at first glance,

But falls apart at the first given chance

Yet it always works out in the end.
