Muse

Moments of clarity; You offer me. Enlighten my mind, Through my darkness. Thoughts and words; Connections I fail to grasp; You ease me. Never fail to offer a release From the demons That enjoy hiding the answers, In the many crevices, that Make up me and my mind These demons; playful little creatures; Gleeful children; Running to and fro; A children's game; monkey In the middle and I'm the monkey. But when you're around, They stand at attention, And my thoughts, I retain. Thanks to you; My muse
