The Muse is Gone.

That girl you once knew The way the she danced without a care That smile that once was true, That devilish stare, They said she was a good girl, Headed down the right lane, Yet she had complex ideas in her brain, She couldn’t tell you what was wrong Couldn’t say it in a song, You had to listen to her lyrics, just look at the notes She wasn’t much a of singer but you had to see what she wrote, “I when outside to make myself a wish..” I kid you not this is what she spit “I’m a wanna be rhythm composer, a verbal bulldozer, march up the beat like a lyrical soldier” That’s all she wanted but she couldn’t even tell ya True words of a writer but it couldn’t even save her She had a heart of golden, But now her lungs are black, she sold her soul and her walls are hard to crack. so let it go…. because she's never coming back.
