The Muses

How could one family even be so talented?

All nine girls so supernaturally good at whatever they do

Clio a genius at history and guitar,

Top scholar and leader of the jazz band

Euterpe plays any instrument she touches

And on top of that is the president of the debate society

Thalia’s funnier than a professional comedian

Melpomene is a little emo but gets all the leads in the play

Terpsichore the captain of the drill team

Erato gets all the boys

Polymnia leader of the math squad

Ruins every single curb on all the classes

A total teachers pet

Ourania has her head a little to caught up in the stars

But is brilliant at science

And Calliope the queen of them all

The perfect journalist, best in every English class

Its as if she wrote the Odyssey herself

They rule the school

The perfect combination of brilliance and art

Destined to be perfect at everything they do

You can't help but admire them

And you can't help but hate them just a little.
