Music

Music,

The notes fall off the page

You listen to the beat

The melody that flows

Tap your foot

That’s the groove that you love to listen to

Batcha

The drums go

Tap tap tap

Can you hear it?

I don’t preach,

I play.

I don’t go to church,

I go to a concert.

Life isn’t about servitude,

It’s about the beat.

This is life

Note by note

Symphony after symphony.

We listen;

And we learn.

“If I had a world of my own, everything would be nonsense. Nothing would be what it is, because everything would be what it isn't. And contrary wise, what is, it wouldn't be. And what it wouldn't be, it would. You see?” - Mad Hatter
