Music

My one true escape from the life I want to leave behind.

A life where my dad calls me useless and my mom just sits there.

A life where the one I love may not love me back.

A life where I may not be accepted for being gay.

A life where I don't know want I want to do with myself.

A life where it is hard to stay happy.

A life where I have to write a poem to express myself.

Sometimes I just want to be lost in music,

Forever trapped in a world

Of my own creation
